Shop / main access ion chamber
[PRODUCT DESCRIPTION]: Inside the chamber, the copper/silver electrodes will erode over time. This erosion is the sole reason for having to replace the chamber. Instead of simply replacing the chamber itself, you may consider replacing the electrodes inside, which is a more cost-effective choice.
[PACKAGING INCLUDES]: The packaging includes two copper/silver electrodes designed to replace the eroded electrodes in your current Perma Salt chamber. The dimensions of the replacement electrodes are ½ by ½ by 2.5 inches. Additionally, the package includes two stainless steel screws, two spade terminals, two lock washers, and two sealing washers. Only a cross screwdriver and long needle-nose pliers are required for installation.
[SIMPLE INSTALLATION]: 1. Remove the chamber from the transformer module. 2. Loosen the stainless steel screws and push up on them to remove the eroded electrodes from their sockets. 3. Once the electrodes are loose, fully remove the screws and electrodes from the chamber. 4. Use the long needle-nose pliers to insert a replacement electrode into the short side of the chamber where the old electrodes were placed. 5. While holding the electrode with the pliers, start the screw from the bottom of the chamber, making sure the electrode is seating back into the socket. 6. Securely tighten the screw with the spade terminal pointing towards the long end of the chamber. 7. Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 with the other electrode. 8. Reinstall the chamber back onto the transformer module.
[NOTE]: It is important to follow the correct order of installation. The sealing washer must be placed next to the chamber to prevent leakage. Please ensure the parts are correct before purchasing, and contact us for verification if needed.
